Membership in SAIL
SAIL has three types of members
- Individuals & families, called
"family members". Dues are $15 per year per family. Boat ownership is not a
requirement, simply an interest in sailing. Send in an
application with your check.
- Junior members, for those under 18 at any
time during the year. Dues are free. simply send in an
application with your birth date. And,
- Organization members, which may be clubs.
fleets, or other organizations. Dues are $60 per year. send in an
application with your check.
All SAIL memberships are annual and expire on December 31 of each year.
The sole membership requirement is that the applicant wishes to support
sailing in the Rocky Mountain region. There is no initiation or other fee
for joining.
Dues are payable on January 1, but may be paid at any time after October 31. Dues paid
before October 31 will be applied to the current year. After that date, to the following
year.
You may pay your annual PHRF dues ($5.00) with your SAIL dues. The Treasurer will
inform the PHRF Chair of your payment. If you are renewing your PHRF membership for the
same boat and have made no modifications to it, you need not file an additional
application. If you are applying for a PHRF rating for a different boat or have modified
your boat, you must complete another PHRF application.
